on Pranks: Theo Von Loves to Prank Text

It may sound counterintuitive or like you’re asking for an epic ass-kicking, but the best pranks are on people who don’t know you. While I’m not above a good prank, I never try to prank my friends or family. I only prank people I don’t like who don’t really know me. My favorite prank used to be replacing the vodka in bottles with Everclear and if my roommates had friends over who I didn’t care for, I would invite them to take a shot with me during pre-game.

“It’s rude if you say no.”

Of course, I’d pour vodka into everyone else’s shot glass. But them? Fuck them. I remember one time I got an entire group of Asian chicks from UIC to take a shot of Everclear because they were talking shit about something I don’t even recall anymore. It was awesome.

One time at a party, I was a few drinks in and these people weren’t getting any funnier. If you’re drunk and still find someone annoying, you know that person sucks. And so here I was, in the middle of a group conversation that I didn’t want anything to do with. Basic logic dictate that you just walk away and find some other people to talk to, but I was determined to get this group out of sight and hopefully my apartment. I convinced them that we should play hide and seek.

“I’ll count, you guys go hide.”

I never went to look for them. They stayed hidden for, like, thirty minutes. By far the best part of the party. One of the dudes I don’t think I ever saw again.

Anyways, pranks are awesome and way funnier if the person doesn’t know you. Theo Von shares some of his best pranks. (If you don’t want to watch his entire Hot Ones episode, you can forward to the 3:05 mark for his pranks.)
